Google Makes Waves with New embedding API
- Front Page:
Google unveils new application named Google Wave which will be an open source tool for bloggers and social networkers across the globe. Geared towards communication, the Google Wave staff wanted to create a product which could be the new "email" of today. Wave users would be able to chat, blog, and email all in one centralized area in realtime. Straight from your desktop or to your website or blog, Google Wave would also allow users to embed their own blogs and websites onto other "Waves". You could have open discussions in one area, without the need to visit the actual website or open an instant messenger. Because much of it would be open source, other developers could create their own applications, which would allow for a rich internet experience between multiple social networks, blogs and even community forums. If you have the patience, check out the full video above, its very informative. There really seems to be no limit to this new Google Technology and it hasn't even been officially released. Its expected to go public later this year.
