Magic Weed - Interesting History

People are often demonized by drug usage. Over the years I have run into people from all walks of life, who have admitted to their usage. 95% of these individuals talk about marijuana. I have always heard it called the "gateway" drug. But very few people who smoke weed, have attempted any other form of drugs. Coming from someone who has enjoyed drinking for the last 9 years, I can tell you that this legal drug, is probably the true gateway drug. But what does it matter? In the end it is about personal choice. The legal aspect is simply a minor deterrent.

The history of the "Magic Weed" is quite interesting. Its hard to imagine a substance that has so many uses and such a rich history has been linked to addictive and destructive drugs such and Heroin and Cocaine. I think even those people who have never experimented with Marijuana have started to become more tolerant, possibly because they have seen the affects of prescription drugs and alcohol.

When the worst you can come up with is a bad Cheech and Chong movie, or some punk stoner kid, you know its time to move on and find another outlet for your moral outrage.
