Futurama Possible Bust? | Recasting Talks In The Works

Fox casting new voices for characters?

Facebook strikes again. This time with alleged comments made by the original voice actors for the soon to be re-spawned animated Futurama series. Claiming 20th Television (parent company of 20th Century Fox) is calling for voice auditions to recast the main characters due to salary issues.

The original Futurama series ran from 1999 to 2003. Reruns on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network led to a surge of new popularity in the series which eventually led to several DVD movies. Comedy Central picked up on the rights to air 26 new half-hour episodes in mid 2010.

US Weekly | Michael Jackson On Fire

>

I can't exactly say this is entertainment, matter of fact it is quite disturbing. U.S Weekly has released the 1984 video of Micheal Jackson's infamous "Pepsi Incident" where pyrotechnics went horribly wrong.

Good God No | Joe Jackson Sees "Bright Future" For Grandchildren

Full Story

Joe Jackson is of course Micheal's father, the one who started it all with the formation of the Jackson 5 in 1965. Micheal was just 11 years by the time they hit it big in 1970.

Now Joe apparently has his eyes set on utilizing the talent of Micheal's children, or at least that's the impression you get after watching the Goodmorning America interview on Friday.

Transformers 2 | Sick Of Movies Selling Toys?

So perhaps you have heard that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is on track at breaking the 200 million dollar mark this Sunday after netting 126+ million as of Friday. The sequel to the popular Transformers movie in 2007 has generated quite a buzz. Not simply because of the impressive numbers, but the apparent lack of substance to legitimize those numbers.

The reviews have starting to pile up, as always I turn to my personal favorite for movies reviews with RT. The critics ratings pretty much speak for themselves, Transformers 2 is kind of rotten. But what do you expect, these are adults writing these reviews right?

Fawcett, Jackson Fans Say Goodbye

Today was a bad day for entertainment. Its hard to even turn on the television knowing what's in store.

Micheal Jackson is dead at age 50, due to an alleged heart attack. He was in Los Angeles at the time and was scheduled to perform next month in London, just one of 50 sold out shows.

And the next came as no real surprise, Farrah Fawcett finally succumbed to her 3 year battle with cancer. She died in a Santa Monica hospital at age 62.

Chickenfoot | Music Rocks Once Again

For some reason today feels like summer for once and nothing goes better with summer than music. If you haven't heard of Chickenfoot then today is your lucky day. Their self titled album came out nearly 2 weeks ago, but today marked the day that a long time rock fan finally felt the heat. Chickenfoot consists of Michael Anthony (bass), Sammy Hagar (vocals), Joe Satriani (guitar), and Chad Smith (drums). If these names don't sound familiar, then you you better keep reading. If this is your first introduction, then welcome to the show.

Sammy Hagar, aka The Red Rocker, at age 61 and 40+ years as a professional musician still has that energy that fans love. Michael Anthony of Van Halen fame once again rejoins his former band mate and produces some solid bass work that fits perfectly with RHCP drummer Chad Smith. And last but not least, Joe Satriani, famous for his solo work, is finally on stage letting his guitar burn along side actual band members. And it seems he has taken a liking to Chad Smith in particular.

Perez Hilton Tweets About Getting Punched In The Face

[ Insert Ridiculous Parez Pic Here ]

The attention starved celebrity blogger got a rude awakening early Monday morning outside of a Toronto night club. But this time, the attention he got was a bit unexpected. According to reports Parez had gotten into an argument with singer Fergie at the nightclub after an awards ceremony. The argument was over the issue of Parez writing unfavorable articles about her and her bandmates of The Black Eyed Peas.

This led to Will I. Am, front man and founder of the Peas to confront him later in the night. And it seems he brought some "backup" in the form of Polo Molina the bands manager. Who eventually proceeded to (allegedly) punch Parez in the head 2-3 times. At 4 in the morning Parez returned home to twitter about the incident.

Music Industry | Digging Own Grave Or Victim of Piracy?

“In 2009, the US recording industry will mark 10 consecutive years of declining CD sales,” says Paul Vernae a senior analyst at eMarketer. Since its peak at 14.6 billion in 1999, music sales are expected to drop to a record lows of $5.52 billion by 2013.

But wait it gets better. Not only is the music industry struggling to make half the profits from 10 years ago but they are also spending millions in order to protect their assets. Case in point, the trial of Jammie Thomas-Rasset, a 32 year old mother of 4 who was found guilty of copyright infringement and fined 1.9 million dollars by 4 major major record companies.

In 2007 she was fined $220k for downloading music, but that was thrown out due to jury issues and a new trial then proceeded. The Minneapolis jury awarded the damages after it was proven that Mrs Rasset had illegally downloaded and shared 24 songs on the Kazaa file sharing network.

Carrie Prejean Lose's Her Crown

YOUR FIRED!

^^regulus im not possesive! (nor sexist)

The 22 year old Former Miss California has been fired today. Fox News has reported the exclusive story on their website today. Check It Out Here

Many of you may remember the controversy which erupted when Carrie Prejean was allowed to keep her crown back in May.

The Donald who held a press conference backing her up then, is now the final decision maker yet again. This time the tables have turned, in support of the opposite side. Keith Lewis, who is the executive director of K2 Productions which manages Prejean made the following statement..

"After our press conference in New York we had hoped we would be able to forge a better working relationship. However, since that time it has become abundantly clear that Carrie has no desire to fulfill her obligations under our contract and work together.”

Donald Trump supported Keith's decision to 'let her go' due to her inability to honor the terms of her contract. "Unfortunately it just doesn’t look like it is going to happen and I offered Keith my full support in making this decision," Trump said.

Today's WGAF Entertainment Story | Heidi Montag + Spencer Pratt

TB sure beats rice and water huh?

Or should i say, Lack of Entertainment. ABC News is reporting that out of reality TV "stars" Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag of The Hills are orchestrating an alleged promotional stunt for the show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me out of Here!.

Is Heidi "deathly ill". as MTV News Reports, and if so are reports true that she was deprived of food and water leading up to her hospitalization? Heidi's Hubby's sister reportedly alleges that her brother and his wife were being "tortured" and that the family was greatly concerned.

NBC denies any torture, meaning they didn't deny them food and water. Although its rumored they were only allowed to drink water, and eat rice while confined in a room, for timeout punishment for past bad behavior. I don't know, for an attention starved reality TV couple, that does sound like torture. Never mind the fact these the two have a reputation for pulling stunts in order to get publicity. Also inquiring minds want to know.. do they plan on quitting the show yet again or not?

OMG! Please let us know NBC! Guess we will have to tune in to find out. Ummm.. i think i will take a rain check on that.
