Ted Nugent & The Second Amendment

That pretty much sums it up from my perspective. Your thoughts?

Obama | Enough X-Box

Text Of Speech Via NewsMax.

The "controversial" speech was delivered to students from kindergarten to twelfth grade. And the basic theme seemed to be about the following; Personal accountability, self reliance, hard work, and sacrifice.

A simple correction gives insight

As you may or may not have read. Yesterday I wrote about president Obama's plans to deliver a speech to students which will be delivered to select schools across the country. Broadcast via C-Span or the Whitehouse.gov website, schools may opt to show students the speech, much to the dismay of parents, politicians and bloggers across the nation.

Media Predicting Racial Uprising | We All Lose

Media bias has become a special point of interest for me. I don't often watch cable news programs, but every now and then I venture into the realm of Fox News, MSNBC or CNN. Time and time again I take a step inside, I look around, and then get out ASAP. And nowhere is the urge to flee more prevalent then on MSNBC.

The video above is a perfect example of political bias. At a time when Glenn Beck gets demonized for saying that President Obama may in fact have racial issues with white people. The Propaganda machine at MSNBC is quick to label hundreds if not thousands of people without any real context or coherent explanation. Double standard perhaps?

Glenn Beck Advertising Boycott

Boycotts work both ways

A wave of emails have flooded over a dozen companies from Progressive Insurance to Radio Shack. All after rumors began circulating that they were pulling their ads from Glenn Becks program on the Fox News Channel.

"We applaud GEICO and all of the other companies who have stepped forward to pull their ads from Glenn Beck," said James Rucker, executive director of Color of Change.

Private Vs Public | Take A Look Outside Health

With the health care battle raging, the issue of governments role in competition with private industry has come into play. We are told that the government can provide us with options, and at the same time reduce costs and provide a equal if not better service.

So I decided to do a bit of research into other government programs which currently compete with private companies. And first in line was the United States Postal Service (USPS). The USPS is a government owned independent agency of the Executive Branch of government. They are heavily regulated and are provided certain protections as well as funding from the Federal Government. Which allows for them to essentially run a monopoly over all first class mail delivery.

Beer Summit | A Perspective

An Image To Keep In Mind

The imagine above shows the president exiting the White House on Friday as Sgt. Crowley helps Gates down the steps behind him.

The meeting between Sergeant Crowley, Professor Gates and President Obama seems to have gone well for the trio. But lets look at what happened before the 3 met at the White House on Friday to have a few beers and discuss their differences.

Recession Dictates Customer Satisfaction

The current recession has hit every day Americans pretty hard. Money isn't so readily available anymore, even banks have tightened up requirements for lending money. Many people have gone into conservation mode, but a downturn in the economy takes nothing away from the peoples needs.

A recent article in Time addresses the issue firsthand in the home construction industry. Work is hard to come by, and a smart consumer can use that to their advantage. The trick is finding someone capable first, after that its all about how much money you can save without sacrificing quality.

Cambridge Police Acted Stupidly | Obama Blunders In Front Of America

The Beginning - Henry Louis Gates Jr. Arrested

"I don't know all the details," admits the president. Yet he proceeds to interject with his own personal opinion on the issue. Obama, going by newspaper details, while joking with the press, admits bias, and then can't help himself from making this an issue about race. "The Cambridge police acted stupidly," according to Obama. These statements came at the end of the hour long press conference about Health Care Reform Wednesday night. (Read More)
