#1 Banjo Kazooie

Banjo Kazooie was all about music… okay not literally but you get what I mean. At a time where Mario and Zelda were pushing the platforming genre forward Banjo Kazooie followed, not only changing the way people played but changing the way people hear.

Banjo Kazooie featured a wide variety of levels each of which with different environments and it was very interesting to see the way the music change to fit that environment. Infact, Bajo Kazooie was one of the first games to use actual instruments to help create the sound track as well as to use the sound track as a story telling device. Go underwater the music changes, go into a battle things get a bit more face pace. It was very nice to see all the attention the developers put into the game when it came down to music.

Personally I feel Banjo helped pioneer the way music is in plat formers today with they way the music change depending on your environment. It has changed the way we play VGs completely, and that why this game get #1.
