Kicker/Employee Falls 35 Ft from Skyride Attraction

Above is a picture of the Skyride, a popular Tampa Bay Florida attraction at Busch Gardens. USF Kicker Maikon Bonani fell 35 feet while attempting to secure a door latch on the ride.

Apparently Bonani was concerned about whether or not the door was shut properly and proceeded to hang on as the Skyride ascended over 30 feet into the air. After letting go, he feel to the ground and landed in a landscaped area below according to Bush Garden officials.

The sheer height of the fall will no doubt be a haunting memory for the 20 year old former Brazilian. Bonani is reported to be in fair condition with a possible vertebrae injury. Needless to say he is lucky to be alive without paralysis.
