Economic Freedom, Race and Hate
- Front Page:

"Racism and hate are two very different things at least the way racism is defined today. I do not believe that any race is superior to another. But in this politically correct bullshit world we live in I could be considered a racist. As far as economic philosophy is concerned, I believe in economic freedom for everyone. That means no matter my slanted views on an individual, they all have equal opportunity despite what society deems to be an accurate label for a certain individual or group. Economic freedom without the government protecting any one group over another is the truest form of equality. We can all have our own flaws, but we can not force our beliefs or opinions on others and use them to push people away from their true potential." - juslen via Digg.com

I spend quite a bit of time on Digg. As someone who loves to give his opinion and discuss news and history I often run into discussions that go beyond simple partisan politics. Above is a response I made in regards to modern day racism and hatred. I don't believe in hate crimes and I can honestly say I have never truly hated someone. But why has racism and political correctness both been intertwined in the same twisted label for individuals as well as entire groups. Isn't that in itself prejudice?
I would like to hear your comments.
